Thrive is owned and operated by me, Alicia Putz. I recently received a Prairie Horticulture Certificate in Landscape Design from the University of Saskatchewan, but I grew up among ardent gardeners. When we bought a home several years ago I finally had a chance to turn an interest in yard design into a three-season obsession. This passion turned into a career when I recently made the transition from hair stylist into horticulturist.
After almost a decade in the beauty industry, which included numerous business and customer service seminars, I feel I have the tools to provide clients with personal, prompt service that caters to their tastes.
Thrive's main goal is to provide value for the client's dollar. Therefore the custom design comes with extensive information on how to implement your design plan.
A custom residential landscape design is helpful whether you have built a new home and have an empty yard full of nothing but dirt, or you moved into a house that is overgrown with plants and you need to know how to organize the space to suit you and your needs.
Hiring someone to plan your yard will provide you with the peace of mind that the proper plants were chosen for your yard, and it only needs to be done once. Whether you are looking for eco-friendly plantings or wanting to create that outdoor room you have been dreaming about, I will design a space that reflects your tastes and enhances the structures that surround it.
There is no project too small. If you need advice on what to plant in a certain area or want a design for half of your yard contact me to assist you in developing your dream yard with plants that suits your property's properties! For example, if you have pets, how much light your yard gets, what sorts of pests tend to share your space, and many more options you may not have thought of, all matter when choosing plants and laying out your design.
